A GLIMPS OF THE "FIFTIES"!

This past weekend Bailee had a
primary activity. "Father-Daughter Bop" Their theme of course was the
50's. So they were supose to dress up
in their "poodle skirts and leather jackets"-- Paul was out of town, visiting his sister Ruth in Texas.
Joe, (Rachael's husband), stepped in to go with her. What a great brother- in- law, remember he would be missing out on the BYU and UTAH game. But I quess being ask out by a MUCH younger women was too hard to resist!! Ha Ha. Anyway, they had a good time and Bailee was so glad she was able to take Joe. She came home saying so much about all the activities.
She now is asking for a CD with all the great songs they danced to. Elvis's "Nothing But a Hound Dog," was one of her requests. Thank you so much Joe, she will never forget this night. Bailee did win the "Limbo" contest- (the stick was about 3 feet off the ground). WAY TO GO, BAILEE!!!

BUSY MONTH !!!!

This has been a very busy October.
I'm gald the season is changing.

Paul and the girls, (Malerie & Aubrey)
went deer hunting. They didn't have much luck but had fun. Paul later went out with a friend and was able to get this 3x4 deer. But lucky me, we were able to give it to Joy and Chris Blackner. I told Paul he is welcome to go hunting, but can't bring it home. He did take some of the meat for himself.

Malerie and Aubrey in their hunting attire!!

As some of you know, from reading Rachaels and Malerie's blogs that we lost Britta (Paul's dog). It was a sad day. Bailee had a really hard time with this loss. She was a big part of our family.

Malerie and I finished the rest of the canning for the year. It is a ton of work, but is much more injoyable when I have someone to do it with. Rachael was busy with school so she wasn't able to do any herself, Lucky her!! We canned corn, beans, tomatoes, tomatoes juice, salsa, apple pie filling and applesauce. Wow, I'm gald it's done!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Mal for your help and your company!!! and thanks to Paul who worked so hard in our garden!!

Some of our goods!
