"TREK"
Paul and I had the opportunity to go on our Stake "TREK". We were on the transportation committee, and our responsibility was transporting the porta-potties. I thought it would be awful, but it really wasn't too bad. We acutually had a "crap load of fun". ha ha. I was glad to have experienced the great fun and spirit that was there. It was the most awsome experience ever!!! I'd do it again if I was asked.
We are Finally Updated!!!
Lots has happened since my last post. Rachael and Joe are now parents of little, adorable Oakley Susan Mattson. We are now grandparents of 3 wonderful grandchildren. What a joy this little blessings are in our lives.

Aubrey and Hadlee on Yellowstone Lake
Our family, with the exception of Joe and Rachael, went to Yellowstone in June. Mom, dad Taylor, Em, Brets family and Ruth, Benson Wells were also there with us. It was a very fun week.

Still not "Over the Hill"!!!
Yes another birthday has come and gone. I am now 49 years old but still not "over the hill" yet.
I don't feel as old as that sounds, which I guess is a good thing. It was fun to have the family over. We all went to Aubrey's ball game in Bountiful and then went out to dinner, then came to the house to open gifts and have pie (I'd rather have this than cake). It was nice to spend time with the kids, yes that includes Megan also. Thank you for a nice day, and all the nice birthday wishes. I love you all!!!!
My big helper Hadlee, getting in on the candle blowing action. and also opening my presents with me.
Got an I-tunes card with my favorite candy!
My new favorite movie "The Proposal" Yeah!

THE BIG 50!!!!
It was Paul's 50th birthday Jan. 22, and he insisted that he didn't want a big deal made of it. So we had a small party at our home. We had the girls and their families, Em and Bret and their girls and of course Megan Harrah and Aubrey came home from Logan. We had dinner (fajitas) ordered from "Chilli's." I hope it was a good day for him. WE LOVE U, Paul!!! Bailee and I decorated Paul's office the night before, with the help from Joe in letting us in after work hours. I deliverded Paul's cake to his office the next morning.
balloons and crap paper and had a coffin cake
made with "I'd rather be over the hill than
under it" written on it.
We used only 5, one for each 10 years, we didn't want to
burn down the house!! ha,ha.
